- Abstract:
- Blind Source Separation (BSS) is an area, which has been researched
for the past decade and basically aims to find the inverse of
a multiple-input multiple-output system whose structure and
input signals are not known (i.e. blind). Several solutions
to the problem are known, but most are still too costly to be
implemented in a system in real time. The aim of the project
is to reduce the complexity by combining separation techniques
with subband processing to enable feasible solutions. This
presentation will provide a review on both BSS and optimal
filter bank systems relevant to the research and will also
describe current and future research initiatives.
