- Title:
- Distributed Admission Control in a MANET

- Abstract:
- MANETs (Mobile Adhoc Networks) lack centralised administration
and managemnet policies and work to provide best effort service. QoS
in a MANET will provide some service differentiation between different
types of traffic. As the transmission channel is shared and the
bandwidth limited, there is a limit on the number of QoS flows in the
network. Admission control and policing is essential to regulate and
control traffic and provide QoS in a MANET.
