Title:
Customized Routing in Programmable Virtual Network

Presenter:
Duc Cong Nguyen

Date:
May 31, 2002

Abstract:
Programmable network paradigm allows executions of programmable packets in routers to provide more flexibility to traditional networks, and richer services for users. The introduction of network-based processing poses some challenges in designing a framework to manage CPU processing resources at programmable routers and to support applications that requires processing in the networks. In this seminar, I will discuss some research issues and my work on designing CPU scheduling model at programmable routers and routing in future programmable networks.
