- Abstract:
- Mobile ad hoc networks are infrastructureless networks, which are
entirely made up of end-user nodes, which are capable of routing,
sending recieving data to all the other nodes in the networks. One
constraint in such networks is to design a routing protocol which scale
in large networks of different traffic levels and mobility patterns. In this
paper, we study the performance of a number of different routing
protocols under different network conditions. We also compare the
performance of Hop-by-Hop routing and source routing protocols and
draw up conclusions based on our findings. I will also briefly talk about
my current area of research.
