There are six projects within UoW. The projects and their respective research leaders are:

Social Media: tools for User-Generated Content: richer tools for managing user generated content and social networking. Research Leader: Dr. Christian Ritz (critz (at) uow.edu.au)

Multi-channel Content Distribution & Mobile Personalisation: In-vehicle multimedia communications. Research Leader: Dr. Mehran Abolhasan (mehrana (at) uow.edu.au)

Immersive Multi-media Services: New immersive virtual environments for collaboration and sharing of multimedia content. Research Leader: Prof. Farzad Safaei (farzad (at) uow.edu.au)

Common Business and Service Frameworks: Methods and tools to identify and create business processes and services and to plan and prioritise investments. Research Leader: Prof. Aditya Ghose (aditya at uow.edu.au)

Service Aggregation: Methods and tools to create composite services and manage alignment of policies, privacy, and security. Research Leaders: Assoc. Prof. Willy Susilo (wsusilo at uow.edu.au), Assoc. Prof. Yi Mu (ymu at uow.edu.au)

Education and New Media: Methods and tools to effectively integrate digital assets into educational practices. Research Leader: Dr. Christian Ritz (critz at uow.edu.au)
