Summer Scholarships 2006-2007

Summer research scholarships, valued at $3,000 per scholarship, are available.

Aim

To give high achieving students in 2nd and 3rd year the opportunity to have a 'taste of research' through working on a TITR research project. This is an excellent opportunity for students to see if they are interested in postgraduate research.

Students will work over a 10 week period (27.11.06 - 24.12.06 and 2.1.07 - 12.2.07). The total value of each scholarship will be $3000 which will be paid in two installments: one in mid December and one in late January.

TITR is one of the largest university-based sites for research and development in information and communication technologies in Australia.

Eligibility

To be eligible, students must satisfy all of the following criteria:

• 2nd and 3rd year domestic and international students
• Students enrolled in Spring Session 2006 and Autumn Session 2007
• Full time students
