Organisation and Management Structure
TITR Management structure consists of the following:
- Board of Directors
- Managing Director
- External Advisory Board
- Management Board
- Board of Directors: includes the Pro Vice Chancellor Research
(or nominee), Managing Director of TITR, Dean Of Informatics and Dean of
Education. The Board provides strategic direction and or endorsement for
TITR within the research and academic framework of the University and
setting broad objectives and goals.
- Managing Director has the overall responsibility for the
realisation of TITR's vision, ensuring that it remains at the fore front
in terms of research strength and capability within the University as well
as being a nurturing and encouraging environment for staff to develop
their academic and research careers.
- TITR Advisory Board is an independent panel of experts with
membership drawn from leaders and eminent people from IT&T
Industry, and/or educational and research institutions. The Board
will conduct regular reviews of TITR's R&D focus and
achievements and provide feedback on its future direction from an
industry-wide perspective.
- TITR Management Board: provides a participatory management structure
for the Institute. It gives a mechanism for setting goals and
objectives and coordination of the Institute activities.
- Training Manager: Promotes TITR technical training capabilities,
development of new market opportunities in Australia and overseas
for training, and delivery of courses tailored for customer needs.
- Administration, Finance and Research Support: the role of
this unit is to
provide the required administrative and finance support for TITR
members in their research activities. The unit will produce regular
TITR newsletter, research reports and promotional material aimed at
supporting TITR objectives and external engagement. Where possible,
the unit will provide support for development of research proposals.
