ICT Research Institute Celebration

University of Wollongong’s ICT Research Institute has been at the leading edge of research in the field of Information and Communication Technology for more than 16 years, has trained many high calibre postgraduate students who now hold eminent positions in their respective fields and produced several successful commercial ventures. In recent years, the Research Institute has expanded its research scope and capacity encompassing four major research centres, which collectively represent some 60 academic research staff and over 95 PhD students.

We are celebrating many years of excellence in research and education. We are also launching our newly enlarged Research Institute and our increased caliber and capacity for collaboration and partnership. The celebration includes keynote speeches by:
•    Dr Hugh Bradlow, Chief Technology Officer, Telstra Corporation;
•    Dr Paul Boustead, Director, Interactive Voice Technology, Dolby Australia;
•    Dr Chris Ware, V.P. Engineering,  Audinate Pty Ltd.
There is also an exhibition, showcasing a sample of our current projects and some of the most recent advances in ICT.
